It was a bittersweet day on 15th September for Sprowston Methodist Church who celebrated over 70 years' dedicated service of the BB to the church and community. It's not easy to say goodbye to something that has been so good. With worship led on the guitar by Ben Lawrence an ex BB lad and with Officers, Assistants and friends of the Company in attendance, the Colours were presented for a final time. We sang ' We Have an Anchor' with great vigour and prayed the BB dedication prayer for the final time, asking God to bless the lads from the Company and the values that had been instilled throughout the years. It was a privilege to shake hands with all who had given of themselves to the Company over the years. As we looked at Psalm 23, we looked at how God is still with us in the places when we neither see nor feel him at work.
